I walked around the nursery, chasing my long tail. I knew of the leopard markings along my back and face that some called "atracttive". Yeah right. I look like someone threw up on me.

Birdflame walked into the nursery to see a kit chasing it's tail. That was new. "Hi kit!" Birdflame said.

Owlkit woke up from a nice nap he had just had and saw a kit. A new kit! He ran up to her and... Birdflame. "Hi my name's Owlkit!" he shouted in her face.

Birdflame laughed on the inside. Owlkit was always bursting out of nowhere. "Hey Owlkit!" she whispered. "I suggest not making every cat in the clan deaf." She drew herself up.

Shadowheart saw her daughter with Owlkit and Birdflame. Hello. Owlkit, I thought I heard you. She purred, then looked over at her daughter. Enjoying the nursery?

Owlkit nodded at Shadowheart. Then looked at Leopardkit. "Do you want ti play a game?" he said a bit softer but still loudly.

"Yes!" Leopard said. She whisked her tail and sadly, her eye caught it and she began to chase it around.

Leopardkit spun around and around until Owlkit landed on her. "Oomph!" she said. She batted at Owl's ears playfully.

Shadowheart watched the young kits play. My, I don't think I'll be joining you on this one. I'm getting dizzy just watching. A purr rumbled from her throat.

Shadowheart moved towards the side of the den to watch the kits play. She purred, and smiled as she watched them.

Owlkit ran looking behind him at Leopardkit. He didn't see Shadowheart. Running into her, he looked up apologized and started to run again before Leopardkit could catch up.
