It's time...(five spots/Echostar/Orange/Bird)

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather lay in her nest as usual. She was practically forced to stay in there because the kit's were to be born like any minute now. She lay there when she felt a ripple of pain pass along her belly. She grinded her teeth together and hissed in pain. She opened her eyes to feel more contractions. She was kitting. She gasped in pain as ech contraction passed. Birdflame, Orangepaw, Echostar, she yelle loudly. She snarled as more pain passed along her belly.

[Echostar]

Peaceful day? Perhaps would've been if he hadn't heard the sharp yell from a familiar voice. " littlefeather? " Worry filled his eyes, as the leader made his way from the center of camp to the nursery, where it had come from. " littlefeather! what's wrong? " He noticed that the list of names that she had called out had been consisted of himself, and the two medicine cats.

Was she sick? She didn't seem like it ... Suddenly a realization hit him. She was a queen. She was pregnant. And she could be giving birth. Soon. " birdflame! orangepaw! " He shouted out the two names as well, hoping that they would've heard at least one of the calls. Echostar walked over to Littlefeather's side, where she seemed to be in quite a load of pain.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather's eyes were wide and frightened even though this her second litter. She scented a familiar smell. Echostar, she meowed looking up at him and almost shouted his name because it was right when a contraction hit her hard. My kit's ....are...coming, she meowed through grinding teeth.

[Skycloud]

Skycloud heard Little's cry of pain. She must be having kits! Sky ran over to the cats that were already there. "It's okay, Little." She pulled a stick over by them. "Here, take this." Sky said, waiting for the medicine cats.

[Birdflame]

Birdflame made her way through the small group of cats. "Ok. Littlefeather first of all try to calm down." Birdflame said. "Bite on this." Birdflame. "Ok. Keep on breathing. I can see the first one."

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather listened to Birdflame and Skycloud. Come on this is your second litter. They won't take them even Ecgostar said that, she thought calming down a little. She looked at everyone. She took the stick in her mouth and then the next contraction forced her to start pushing out the first kit. She kept pushing until she felt it slide out onto the nest and in-between her legs. She gasped with pain. She grabbed the kit in her jaws and start licking fiercely.

[Birdflame]

"Littlefeather, let Echostar do that. You still have four more." Birdflame patted he queen's belly as if you persuade the kits to come.

[Echostar]

A bit hesitantly, the phantom-like figure moved forward to do what the head medicine cat had instructed him to do, then paused. Littlefeather was giving birth to kits right now. This was the first one of the litter, and the first that hadn't been taken away by Two-legs. Who knew how a fiercely protective mother would react to someone that she'd barely met began making contact with her first kit since escaping Two-legs.

Honestly, not very ... gently, was the word. Echostar glanced once at the calico, as if asking for permission, which was quite a bit ridiculous, considering the fact that she was giving birth, in pain, and hardly ready to answer stupid questions. But still ... he wasn't used to these situations. He'd never seen a birthing she-cat. And this really wasn't helping.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather hesitated a little before letting Echostar take the kit. She looked up at him and smiled weakly. I trust you, she meowed quietly. She then went back to concentrating. She felt the next contraction and she started to push out a second kit. She breathed hard as it came out onto the nest. She groaned and dug her claws in the soil.

[Echostar]

Echostar picked up the kit as gently as possible, by the scruff, and moved him/her [lol] a tiny bit away from the mother, giving her plenty of space. He started licking the kit, not in the fierce and protective way that Littlefeather had done, but a bit gentler, still unsure whether or not he was capable of hurting the kit.

He couldn't help but glance at her in slight worry again, just as a new kit had appeared. Birdflame had said she was going to have five kits ... that meant they still weren't even halfway yet. A grimace couldn't help but appear on his face, but he quickly wiped it away and started licking the first kit again.

[Jaykit]

The kit felt himself slide out onto the moss of his mother's nest, despite not being able to see. But then again, he could hardly smell, almost completely couldn't hear so ... yeah. It wasn't that big of a surprise, really.

The kit started breathing in the air that came with his arrival to the world, at first struggling to do so. He was still quite unused to it. Well, then again... It was hardly surprising. He had only been in the world for about a few seconds, and hadn't received a name yet.

But the cold... it was reaching into him. Where had all the previous warmth gone. He found himself slightly panicking, feeling nothing but coldness seeping into his fur, feeling nothing but coldness at all.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather kept breathing hard. She saw the First kit being cleaned by Echostar. It was a tom. I like the name Jaykit, she meowed quietly. She hoped that the second kit would be grabbed soon and cleaned. She looked up at Birdflame waiting to see what she would do to the second kit. She felt another contraction crip her hard. She started to push the third kit out. A scream escaped her throat. She felt it slide out between her legs as she panted hard.

[Cheetahkit]

The second kit started to breathe for the first time. She listened to the world around her, and felt weird things around her. She started to feel cold and damp. The kit tried to think of a name that would be given to her.

[Birdflame]

Birdflame looked at the kits and then the queen. "OK. Jaykit. That's a wonderful name." Birdflame said. Her eyes glowed with pride for the queen and then picked up a third bundle and started licking it. "Skycloud, Can you take this one?" she asked.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather's eyes grew wide again as she felt another bad contraction grab her. She grinded her teeth and started to push a fourth kit out. She breathed hard and concentrated on the pain. She felt it slip out into the nest. She had grabbed it in her jaws the second and fourth kit. I like the name for the second kit Cheetahkit a she-cat and for the third kit I like the name Stripedkit a tom he looks just like his father. The fourth kit I like the name Leapardkit. She looks....just....like....ME, she meowed and then ended up screaming in pain as a horrible contraction hit her.

[Birdflame]

"You're ok." Birdflame said in a calm voice although she wasn't that calm. "Last kit." Birdflame gently grabbed it and started licking. "How do you feel?" she queen.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather finally with one last heave the last kit slipped out onto the nest. She plopped down on the nest panting hard. It took her a minute before she could answer Birdflame. Tired, she meowed very quietly. She looked at the fifth kit that Birdflame had. Another she-cat. I like the name Darkkit for her, she meowed blinking her eyes slowly.

[Birdflame]

Birdflame nodded. "I'll be leaving now. Call me if you need me..." Birdflame turned to leave. "Oh and you should eat this." Birdflame flicked her tail to a pile of seeds and leaves. A pile of Borage.

[Littlefeather]

Littlefeather nodded her head to Birdflame. She curled her tail around her kit's. She looked up too Echostar and gave him a loving look. She put her paw on top of his and purred softly.
